The New Frequency of Luxury: Inside The Light System’s Research-Backed Approach to Wellness

The Light System Backs Its Wellness Technology With Real Research, Not Just Marketing Claims

The Light System (TLS) is building its reputation on a premise that is rare in the wellness technology space. Every product the company releases is expected to hold up under scrutiny, not just look good in a product photo.

In a market flooded with crystals, frequency devices, and energy jewelry that lean on tradition and intuition rather than data, The Light System has taken a different approach. Each item in its lineup is developed alongside ongoing research rather than released on faith alone, and the brand has made a practice of publishing the methodology behind its claims in full, an unusual level of transparency in a category more accustomed to marketing language than data.

The company works closely with Dr. Glen Rein, a microbiologist with more than four decades of experience in bio-electromagnetics, quantum biology, and energy medicine, whose prior research affiliations include Mount Sinai and Stanford Medical Center. Dr. Rein’s Quantum Biology Research Lab has become a recurring partner in evaluating how TLS technology interacts with the human body, using established scientific methods rather than anecdote to measure what the products claim to do.

The clearest example so far is a study on the brand’s Supercharged Medallion, tested using Electro Impedance Spectroscopy, a method used in both clinical and material science settings to measure how electrical energy moves through biological tissue. Researchers compared a 40mm Tiger Eye medallion that had undergone TLS’s proprietary supercharging process against an uncharged control medallion of the same material. After one hour of wear, the supercharged medallion produced a 175 percent increase in impedance in human buccal cells, compared to just 6.8 percent for the uncharged control. By the three hour mark, that gap widened further, with the supercharged medallion reaching a 382 percent increase against 8.6 percent for the control, a response researchers noted was more than 44 times greater than the baseline.

What stood out to the research team was not just the size of the effect but how long it lasted. After the medallion was removed, impedance levels declined gradually rather than dropping off immediately, with a 130 percent increase still measurable twenty-four hours later. Based on the observed decay curve, researchers estimated the effects of a single three hour wear could persist for up to forty-eight hours.

The study also pointed to something researchers described as non-classical or quantum-like behavior, based on the divergence between real and imaginary impedance values observed in water samples treated with the medallion. In most treatments, these two values move in the same direction. Here, real impedance increased while imaginary impedance decreased, a pattern Dr. Rein’s team says is inconsistent with conventional electromagnetic explanations and consistent with prior observations from the Quantum Biology Research Lab.

The Light System is careful to frame this kind of research as evolving science rather than settled fact, and the company does not make medical treatment claims. Its products are positioned as complementary tools for wellness rather than replacements for medical care.

That standard is meant to extend across the product line rather than sit with any single item. As The Light System continues to expand its catalog, the company has signaled that future releases will be paired with the same kind of independent testing and full publication of results, rather than marketing claims that can’t be checked.

For consumers weighing wellness purchases, that distinction matters. The Light System is betting that the next generation of luxury wellness buyers wants more than a compelling story. It wants a paper trail.
