Daymond John Endorses The Light System, Calling Wellness Essential for High-Performance Entrepreneurs
By Dan Jordan on October 29, 2026

The “Shark Tank” investor and FUBU founder says The Light System has become part of his personal wellness routine, pointing to benefits ranging from mental clarity to more meaningful time with the people closest to him.
For Daymond John, wellness is not separate from performance. The entrepreneur, investor and longtime “Shark Tank” personality has spent decades operating in environments where decisions, numbers and results matter, and he believes maintaining the person behind those decisions deserves the same level of attention.
During a recent interview at the Ultimate Wellness Conference, Daymond John offered a strong personal endorsement of The Light System (TLS), a light- and frequency-based wellness technology that has increasingly found a place in wellness centers, professional practices and private homes around the world.
John made clear that his interest in TLS extends beyond encountering the company at industry events.
“Wherever The Light System is, wherever they’re at, I visit them,” John said.
As an investor who has evaluated countless companies, founders and products throughout his career, that level of loyalty is notable. John said he had specifically come to the conference to visit The Light System and Sentinel Wellness.
His reasoning also reflects a broader philosophy about entrepreneurship.
“I think entrepreneurs are the ultimate athletes,” John said. “As an entrepreneur, you’re on and you’re fighting 24 hours a day. So you’re a performance expert. It’s all about the numbers, whether the numbers to your board and to your bank, or to whatever the case is.”
What Is The Light System?
The Light System is an immersive wellness technology combining proprietary software, polychromatic and biophotonic light, programmed visual patterns and other frequency-based elements. Its environments are designed to support relaxation, balance and overall well-being.
Depending on the configuration, users may sit or recline within an environment created by synchronized light sources and programmed visual sequences. TLS describes its technology as incorporating photonic collision, targeted light and color, dynamic motion, geometric patterns and positive affirmations.
The company has expanded the technology into several formats, ranging from larger systems intended for immersive environments to more compact products designed for personal use.
TLS has also begun building a research portfolio around measurable bioelectrical effects associated with exposure to its technology. That research has examined cellular electrical activity and conductivity, including laboratory studies involving the TLS Chair, Cube, Watch, water bottle and other products. While those findings are part of an emerging research program rather than proof of specific disease treatment, they represent an effort to quantify what had previously been discussed largely through individual wellness experiences.
John Says the Experience Goes Beyond Physical Wellness
John’s comments are particularly significant because he did not limit his endorsement to abstract ideas about wellness technology. He described changes he believes he has experienced firsthand.
“Again, health, this increases longevity, reduces brain fogs, and gets you to enjoy life longer,” John said.
Those statements represent John’s personal assessment of his experience with the technology rather than established medical claims. The Light System itself identifies TLS as a wellness technology and does not represent it as a technology intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent disease.
But one of the most interesting benefits John described had little to do with laboratory measurements.
He said his experiences with wellness modalities have also created an unexpected opportunity to disconnect from technology and reconnect with the people around him.
“Got me closer to my loved ones and my wife because when you’re doing all these modalities, you can’t have any electronics around, so you get to talk to people that you love,” John said.
For an entrepreneur whose career has been built around constant communication, meetings, investments and business decisions, temporarily removing phones and other distractions has apparently become part of the value.
John also described wellness as something that can become communal rather than strictly individual.
“When they’re doing it together with you, all of a sudden, well, that’s creating a team where when I slip, they don’t,” he said.
That perspective places The Light System within a larger shift occurring across the wellness industry. For some users, the appeal is no longer simply finding another isolated product or treatment. It is creating dedicated environments in which rest, reflection and connection are given the same intentionality that high performers routinely give their businesses.
What Daymond John Looks for in Wellness Companies
John’s endorsement carries another dimension because of his role as an investor.
Asked what he looks for when evaluating wellness brands, he pointed less toward hype and more toward the people and principles behind a company.
“I see who is really, really good, who is doing God’s work, who cares, who other people respect,” John said.
It is a concise description of what appears to keep bringing him back to The Light System.
The wellness sector is crowded with products promising optimization, recovery and improved performance. John’s experience illustrates why firsthand use can ultimately matter more to consumers than another marketing claim. He has incorporated TLS into his own wellness routine, seeks it out when it is available and openly discusses the role he believes it plays in his performance, clarity and personal relationships.
For The Light System, an endorsement from one of America’s most recognizable entrepreneurs provides something that cannot be replicated through a conventional advertisement: a high-profile user describing why he continues to come back.
And John summed that relationship up in perhaps the strongest endorsement of the interview:
“Wherever The Light System is, wherever they’re at, I visit them.”
